Steven Spielberg & John Williams Talk Music in Rare Interview

I became obsessed with film scorers at the age of 10, around the same time I knew I wanted to be a film director. Some of my first vinyl soundtrack purchases were ones that John Williams had composed. The first soundtrack I purchased was Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom. I was already a huge fan of the film when it came out, but I was completely riveted by the music. Learning how to play the clarinet a year or two before that, helped my understand music in a different way.

In this clip Steven Spielberg and John Williams talk about film music and their collaboration.
